Thanks for the offer Don, the more the easier/faster it will go....... we could even get some practice in while we go. Wink

Radar map doesn't look to promising....... could be another year of ribbon-use at the J-Park IB. Rolling Eyes

Did someone pickup the carpets I left? I was there today and didn't see them. I have one more carpet that can be used, definitely 2 maybe 3 tees from it. I'm psyched for my first tourney. My gf is making rice crispy treats for the lunch pot luck. I'll be there friday around 3:30ish

I'm available after work on Thursday and Friday. Not sure when I'll get out either day.

I can't find in the rules anything about course preparation. Since I am competing in the tournament is it legal for me to be grooming the course in advance of the tournament? I know this is an informal tournament, but what if it was a formal one?

All grooming is perfectly legal BEFORE a tournament. It's NOT allowed DURING the tourney.

Thanks guys for stepping up on Friday !

As far as Saturday goes,

I'm not sure that the bag tags will be physically present or how many we'll have but rest assured, all that want them we'll get 'em to you. The cedar pieces seem to be splitting more so than last year. We WILL be playing for tag numbers. I plan to run the tag challenge thru the DG Scene website as I did last year.

Carolyn and I will be taking care of registration and sign in. Zip has the lunchtime CTP event.

1. I will need someone to take down names and collect funds for the tags.
2. I will need someone with a staple gun to hang the tee sponsor signs on Friday night or Saturday morning.
3. I'll need a couple people to help check scorecards at lunch.

I'm sure that i'm forgetting something so keep an eye out here for updates to the help list. Wink

I'll be glad to bring my laptop for #3. I already have an Excel file that counts the medal play scores, amount over/under par, etc.
I don't think there is electric, so I'll bring my converter (12v to 120v) for any minor electrical needs.
I'll try and remember to bring a staple gun.

Power should still be on at the pavilion. It was back in January, I don't see why they'd have shut it off now.

A laptop will work great provided the cold weather doesn't affect/harm it.
I'll try to remember to shoot you an email with JZip's payout spreadsheet. I'll have printed copies but having the electron version as a backup can't hurt.

I too have a staple gun. Also if I can get down there early enough (I do NOT like mornings), I'll help out with anything that needs to be done. I also have loads of staples so no worries there.

I can bring a small bag of warm nuts to the potluck , will that help?

No but in all seriousness I hope to make it out with some canned goodness. I hope the weather holds up. I have some firewood I could bring.
