As a general rule if somebody starts insulting another member and generates a flame war, the offensive posts will just disappear. No debate, no talking about it, no voting on somebody being banned from the board, no disciplinary hearings. Just poof....it's gone.
One minute you see the offensive post, and then it's gone. Real simple. Flame wars require two people, in which case two peoples posts will be gone.
I just deleted about 8 posts of one offender, and have asked him to be more sociable. He replied by saying I'm a girlie and everybody on this board is an asshole.
Then I deleted about 6 posts by a guy who flamed back. It takes two. And deleted the reply posts by others, because they make no sense if the flaming posts are vanished.

| I deleted a major flame and about 6 answer posts in the Jammer thread today. Some guy signed up as KenClimo just to flame, that user is banned now. |
