| Two weeks ago they asked me for some information that they could show and present to the board. I have not heard anything since. I sent them an email on Thursday but they have not replied. I am pretty sure it is still going to happen. Right now I would say baskets by Fall 2010 but it could get pushed back to Spring 2011. When I get more information I will post it. |

I just got the map of the area we can use to design this course. Wow, it is huge. They are just waiting for me to design a course and then I am going to walk it with their supervisor and "tree" person. I can't wait to get out there but then again there is still a lot to do at Central Park.
I am going to try and have the distance of this course be between 8,000 and 10,000ft. I hope we can get it done in time to convince everybody that we should have the NYS Championships there. I will be seeking help with the design. Let me know if you are interested. |

Emery Park was conceptualized while Chadams was walking around there in I think March. By November of that same year the baskets were in the ground for the 10,000+ft monster. He did a stellar job with all the red tape, proper channels, etc too. _________________ Walker

Justin, how many acres do you think there is to play with?
I haven't been there yet, are there fewer people than CPark?
Great news! Thanks for all your hard work! |

I'm on board to help out. The club has a lot going on right now. Can we plan a weekend walkthough with some portables maybe a week or 2 after the jammer? We could do a morning walkthough and afternoon at cps. Justin can you post the map? _________________ PDGA # 37696

hey folks, when it comes to course design, at the meeting at kenji's house we nominated a few players to be the course design committee due to their experience and established track record. let's allow those folks to take the lead in design and then submit their proposal to the rest of us for input. want to avoid the old "too many cooks" scenario. _________________
