What you people do not realize is the land owner is not a disc golfer nor does he know any of you. The buildings department is just doing it's job. The course was taken down because the previous owner who still has a lean on the property complained. It wasn't the buildings department or Woodstock that is at fault it is the land owner and the mortgage holder who are responsible for its removal...

Bill, I'm SOOOO grateful because I got to enjoy the course just a little bit longer....... I will never forget those times ! Cool

First time I took my wife to the course and ended up clearing fairways 12 & 13 with her.
I was smacked down with a tree by course designer Skot.
Crawled out(solo) from 7 after a serious thigh muscle injury.
Played in the only tournament held there.
I took Theo from two of the top Albany pros. Then held him for a 2nd round the same day.......... what is YOUR favorite memory of Woodstock ?

I loved going to the course and just moving stuff, fallen trees, rocks, paths.
I would have to say my favorite had to be either downhill 4 or uphill 13.
I didn't know anyone was injured, the course did have some dangerous aspects. My brush with death happened at Hunter when I put in the course for mountain jam, I uncovered a copperhead while placing rocks around the last basket next to the half pipe.

Yikes!
Gotta love the wildlife
Throwing up to the first cliff hole was just a great thing
Had a lot of laughs and groans on that tasty pin placement
Watching JW get nailed by the falling tree was amazing (thank god it was Jeff) Very Happy Meaning I would have been killed by that tree
Looking forward to Hunter Mtn being another fun course to play!
